"I actually had a really nice time..."
I actually had a really nice time at the SF Coffee Festival, which was a relief because I was fully expecting it to be one of those events where you’re stuck wandering around exhausted with nowhere to sit. For once, that didn’t happen. We were able to find seats easily whenever we needed a break, that made the whole day feel way less stressful than I thought it would be.
"Helpful staff made things easy"
I went to the SF Coffee Festival and the staff were super helpful when I wasn’t sure where to head next. One of them even pointed me toward a couple booths with shorter lines, which was really nice. It did get crowded at times, so walking around wasn’t alwasy the easiest, but overall I had a good time and everyone working there seemed friendly.
"I had a good time overall, the..."
I had a good time overall, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and it had a nice vibe to it. It was just really packed, so it was a little hard to fully relax and enjoy everything...

"Pretty clean, clean overall"
I went last weekend for such a busy event, the place was clean, clean overall. A few trash bins did get full here and there, but the staff jumped on it quick and got it sorted.

"Good coffee... but kind of a chaotic setup!!"
I had a fun time overall!!! The coffee booths were really nice, and I definitely tried some good stuff... but the setup was kind of messy?? The lines were confusing, it felt a little too crowded in spots, and check-in took way longer than I expected. Not a bad event at all!! Just feels like it could’ve been organized better.

"Pretty good amount of coffee to try"
I had a good time checking this out. There were plenty of small pours to sample, and I actually ended up trying more coffee than I expected. A few booths started running low later on, but overall it was a fun experience and definitely worth it.

"Getting in was actually super easy"
I was expecting entry to be kind of a pain, or at least a little slow, but it ended up being really smooth. The line was moving quicker than I thought, and the ticket staff were nice and chill. I just pulled up my ticket on my phone, they scanned it, and that was it. No confusion, no random extra steps. It was a solid way to start the festival

"Got my tickets, but I was a little nervous"
I bought tickets on sfcoffeefestival.com and it did go through in the end, but the checkout felt kind of clunky and slow. I’m always a bit worried with ticket sites that I’m missing some fee or getting tricked somehow, so I ended up rechecking my info twice before paying. The fees also weren’t really clear until near the end, which didn’t help. That said, the confirmation email came quickly, so I felt better after that. Not a bad experience overall, just wish it felt a little smoother and more upfront

"It was so crowded, so crowded that..."
It was so crowded, so crowded that it was hard to actually enjoy anything. The lines were all over the place, and it didn’t really seem like anyone was managing the crowd. I ended up feeling more stressed than relaxed.

"Layout felt a little confusing, right?"
I had an okay time overall, but the layout of the venue felt a bit cramped in certain areas. The lines kind of blended together, and at times I wasn’t totally sure where I was supposed to go next. Maybe it was just the crowd that day, but I feel like it could’ve been organized a little better, don’t you think?

"Kinda loved this coffee workshop"
I went to one of the coffee workshops and had a really good time. The instructor explained everything in a simple, down-to-earth way, so it didn’t feel too fancy or intimidating. I kinda liked that we got to actually try things ourselves instead of just listening the whole time. I learned a lot about brewing, the people were nice, and the whole vibe was relaxed. Definitely felt worth the time.

"Bathrooms were easy enough to find, but still a bit frustrating"
The restrooms were easy to find and they were mostly clean, so that was good. There was a small line a couple of times though, which got a little annoying. It wasn’t a huge issue, but I’d still expect some kind of apology or acknowledgment if guests are having to wait.

"Charged for a whole lot of waiting"
I spent most of the time just standing in awful lines and barely got to try anything. For what I was charged, it really didn’t feel worth it, and there wasn’t much of an update or heads-up about the wait situation either.

"Reminded me of coffee runs with my dad"
I tried a few coffees from sfcoffeefestival.com, and overall I was happy with them. Most of the bags tasted really fresh and had that nice full flavor I look for. One was a little more acidic than I personally like, kind of reminded me of the sharper coffee my dad used to love, so it wasn’t totally my thing but still drinkable. For the most part, though, the quality was solid and I’d definitely order again
"I emailed them with a few questions about..."
I emailed them with a few questions about the ticket details and they did get back to me, just... it took a couple days. The reply was useful enough, but I still felt a little unsure about the timing and what I should actually bring.
It wasn’t a bad experience or anything, I guess I just expected quicker updates with the festival coming up. Hopefully once the event actually starts, everything feels more organized

"Refund policy feels a bit strict"
From my experience, the refund policy could be a little more flexible. I understand having rules in place, but when you actually run into an issue, it would feel a lot better if there was some room to work with customers depending on the situation.

"Baristas knew their stuff"
I mostly went because I wanted to pick the baristas’ brains a bit, and it ended up being worth it.
A couple of them helped me figure out the basics of grind size, milk texture, and why my espresso at home has been weird. Nobody made it awkward. Just good coffee, easy conversations, and I left with more useful notes than I expected. I’d go again...

"Schedule was actually accurate"
I checked the schedule before heading out, and it matched up perfectly when I got there. No weird last-minute changes or surprises, which made the whole day a lot easier. Compared to other places I’ve tried where the timing is always a little off, this was a nice change.

"Really happy with the merch quality"
I ordered a hoodie and a mug from San Francisco Coffee Festival, both were nicer than I was expecting. The hoodie is soft without feeling flimsy, and the print looks like it’ll actually hold up instead of peeling after one wash, which is always such an avoidable disappointment with merch.
The mug is solid too, with a good weight to it and no weird chips or defects. Shipping was normal, nothing special, but everything arrived fine. I’d definitely order merch from them again

"I mostly went for the speaker..."
I mostly went for the speaker sessions, and they were fine overall. A couple of the talks were actually interesting, especially the ones about roasting and sourcing. But some felt a little rushed, and a few were waaay too basic for what I was expecting. The schedule was also kind of confusing to keep up with. Not a bad experience, just thought there’d be a bit more depth for the time I spent there.
